The all-new Honda Civic e:HEV comes with a simple yet premium sporty design. The exterior design is distinctive and truly reflects its identity of a hybrid vehicle with a H Mark with a blue frame and an e:HEV emblem on the rear, as well as a front grille and sport-design front bumper, plus body color with chrome door handles. It comes with LED headlights with chrome decoration, LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), LED fog lights, unique LED taillights, shark fin antenna, and 17-inch alloy wheels in a new color.
The e:HEV RS variant takes sportiness to another level, featuring the most exclusive design from front to back. The all-new Honda Civic e:HEV's powerful full-hybrid e:HEV driving system is powered by two electric motors and a 2.0-liter Direct Injection Atkinson-Cycle DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine, with an Electrical Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT) and a lithium-ion battery. Based on various driving situations, the full-hybrid e:HEV driving system can intelligently switch between three driving modes: EV Drive Mode, Hybrid Drive Mode, and Engine Drive Mode. In addition, all variants come with a Drive Mode switch for the driver to select a preferred driving style. The three driving modes are:
- ECON Mode - optimizes the engines' operation to maximize fuel efficiency in line with driving style.
- Normal Mode - for general and daily driving.
- Sport Mode - meaning the car engine accelerates more readily for more fun and enjoyment when driving.
