The new Honda Civic e:HEV is available in two variants:

The new Honda Civic e:HEV's powerful full-hybrid e:HEV system is powered by two electric motors: a Motor Generator and a Motor Drive and a new 2.0-liter Direct Injection Atkinson-Cycle DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine, with an Electrical Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT) and a lithium-ion battery. The motor delivers a maximum of 184 PS at 5,000-6,000 rpm and gives instant and sharpened response with maximum torque of 315 Newton-meters at 0-2,000 rpm. It provides enhanced acceleration and excellent fuel economy of up to 25 km/liter and a CO2 emission rate of only 96 grams/kilometer. Based on various driving situations, the full-hybrid e:HEV system can intelligently switch between three driving modes: EV Drive Mode, Hybrid Drive Mode, and Engine Drive Mode. In addition, it comes with a Drive Mode switch for the driver to select a preferred driving style. The three driving modes are ECON Mode, Normal Mode, and Sport Mode.
