As a postal service provider that employs a large number of motor vehicles to provide the services throughout the country, it is determined to shift to clean energy, cutting the use of fossil fuel to reduce carbon footprints, both at the city and community level.

"Thailand Post is the national postal agency that operates in tandem with environmental sustainability, including the wise use of resources. This collaboration with OR is hence another important step in enhancing the efficiency of parcel shipping using clean energy.

In 2022, Thailand Post has planned to employ 250 electric vehicles for the postal services, which is expected to save resources by over 30 percent. The initiative will significantly lead to an eco-friendly EV ecosystem in Thailand and serves as a model for future green logistics." Dhanant Subhadrabandhu, Ph.D, concluded.
