KTC invites employees to convert food waste into organic fertilizers in response to the Zero Waste policy.

Ms. Duangkamol Intrapram (right), Vice President - Treasury & Sustainability, "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, revealed, "KTC has driven its business policy to support sustainable development in 3 dimensions : economy, society, and environment. Most recently, food waste disposers were installed within KTC in response to the Zero Waste policy or 'waste reduction concept'. The disposals will transform food waste into high-quality organic fertilizers through decomposition by microorganisms. This can reduce the amount of food waste by 80-90% within 24 hours. The organic fertilizer from this food waste disposal machine will be given to employees and used to maintain trees within the Company. Apart from reducing the burden of waste, it also helps to reduce the number of greenhouse gases that cause global warming."
