Last Friday, the new co. GVS Filtration part of GVS Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of advanced filtration solutions for highly critical applications in the Healthcare & Life Sciences, Energy & Mobility and Health & Safety sectors, sponsored the event "Earth Likes You, Like IT Back!" as part of GVS commitment in its new branch in Bangkok to promote and do concrete actions for the SDGs UN Goals. During the event, Danilo Torresani, General Manager of GVS Filtration Thailand, introduced to the audience the importance of acknowledging the problem of the soil crisis and the need to bring back organic content by at least 3-6% enriching the soil to avoid desertification and water scarcity. He also said: "We are in a special place, entitled to John Lennon, that inspired me for this event. In one of the iconic songs, he wrote "I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one, I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will live as one", and I think that tonight we can create a better world, spreading the importance of sustaining the Save Soil global movement by a straightforward action. Use your phone and spread the moments using #Savesoil #ESG #GVS."

Save Soil is a global movement that will address the soil crisis bringing together people around the world to stand up for Soil Health and supporting leaders of all nations to institute national policies and actions toward increasing the organic content in cultivable Soil. The event was enriched by the experiences of Micah Sheppard, Schaeffler South East Asia President who explained the commitment to developing new products for EV but also the action done in Thailand. Concept stressed also by Marco Farina, DKSH Director of Business Development & Center of Excellence, that explained some of the activities done by DKSH to make a green logistic in collaboration with Honda promoting E-bikes in Thailand, and also the partnership with Liverpool FC Foundation and Right To Play to improve life skills to more than 2000 children around Thailand. Inclusion is one of the pillars of the strategy for GVS Group. The Group, conscious of the role and responsibility that a Company plays in relation to the community, its people and the local area, has always considered social commitment to be an important priority, conducted with the same attitude with which the company carries out its work and is inspired by the same values and principles. To this end, GVS is planning to open a Foundation focused on the inclusion of children with special needs through sports activities. The panel was closed by the experience of Mae Fah Luang Foundation, where Dr. Sandro Calvani, Senior Advisor, explained the social and business model of DoiTung recognized in 2018 at the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development of the UN General Assembly in New York. The Doi Tung social enterprise transformed the worst area in Thailand in a successful model of a sustainable society.

The event "Earth Likes You, Like IT Back!" by GVS, was sealed with the good vibes of a special concert by Image Suthita, a young Thai artist, and the closing by mister Torresani about the motto of GVS: "We make it happen ".

A special thanks to the GVS group to host such an inspiring and concrete event, where all the guests went back home with a better understanding of the soil crisis but confirming that our generation responsibility is to change the trends, remembering that "Earth Like You, LIKE IT BACK!"
