As they take in the sights and sounds of the city from the water, watching the river life go by, guests dine on fine Thai cuisine, including the elegant amuse-bouche opener with a giant river prawn, followed by char-grilled Kurobuta pork with spicy coconut dressing, Nam Yum gel and pomelo, and aromatic spicy and sour seafood soup with white prawns, squid, mussels and straw mushrooms.
The two main courses, of the sea and of the land, present iconic Thai flavours in a wholly new light. In deconstructed Hor Mok, the Chef reimagines the popular fish curry by putting a fresh spin on the dish while preserving the nostalgic flavours of the original, while Gang Rawang Nua beef curry with coconut milk, turmeric, local herbs and risotto is elevated with premium ingredients, such as Wagyu beef cheeks and Southern Sang Yod rice.
The dessert, mango sticky rice, is a Thai classic presented as a trio of coconut molto, mango gel and fresh mango served with coconut crumble and pandan cream, while petit fours include such traditional Thai sweets as wheat dumplings with egg yolk, Ja Mong Kut and Thong Yot offering diners an opportunity to sample some of the nation's most popular flavours in their traditional form.
The cruise is available daily and features welcome drinks and canapes served at Manohra Lounge on the pier from 6.30 pm - 7.00 pm, followed by the dinner cruise itself from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm. The experience is priced at THB 2,600 net per person for food only, THB 2,900 with free-flow soft drinks, and THB 3,900
