ABAC Addresses Five Urgent Proposals for the APEC Economic Leaders from the Third Meeting in Vietnam

APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) led by Mr. KriengKrai Thiennukul, ABAC 2022 Chair together with ABAC Thailand Members agreed on a set of recommendations from the third meeting held in Ha Long, Vietnam, they will make to the APEC leaders at their annual dialogue end of the year. The ABAC Thailand Members highlighted on five urgent proposals such as (1) Regional Economic Integration - the road to FTAAP and the establishment of trade in the service sector (2) Digital - the development of foundational digital infrastructure for cybersecurity (3) MSME and Inclusiveness - the promotion of sustainable practices for MSMEs (4) Sustainability - the support for sustainable and resilient food system (5) Finance and Economics - the implementation of macroeconomic and financial measures to speed up recovery and an infrastructural reform to increase productivity and growth. The press conference was held at Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok.
