With over 20 years of hospitality experience, Mr Kumar brings to Hyatt Regency Koh Samui a wealth of industry knowledge in the luxury hotel segment. His most recent position was General Manager at Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort, where he successfully spearheaded a massive renovation of the property and then repositioned the resort as one of the market leaders. Prior to this, he served as General Manager at the iconic property of Park Hyatt Siem Reap in Cambodia as well as Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa- 'a barefoot luxury resort' in southern Maldives.
A Hotel Management graduate and IIM Calcutta Alumni, Mr Kumar, started his career path at young age of 19 and gained experience all across the globe with various internationally renowned properties like The Grand Mauritian, a Luxury Collection Resort and Spa- Mauritius, Sheraton Dubai creek and Towers, Sheraton Dushanbe, Renaissance Mumbai, Grand Hyatt Mumbai, Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, Park Hyatt Siem Reap, Hyatt Regency Phuket resort and Spa, to name a few.
