EXIM Thailand Synergizes with SSI Consortium in Development of Core Banking System to Uplift Services toward Digital Banking

Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn (center), President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), recently signed the EXIM Core Banking System Agreement with Mr. Andrew Tan (left), Group Managing Director of Silverlake Axis Ltd., and Mr. Monchai Manepairoj (right), Chairman of the Executive Committee, Information and Communication Networks Plc. (ICN), representative of the SSI Consortium comprising Silverlake Symmetri (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., Silverlake Structured Services Ltd. and ICN at EXIM Thailand's Head Office. The agreement aims to develop EXIM Thailand's core banking system conducive to driving its business strategy toward digital banking. Cutting-edged digital technology and innovation will be devised in the design and implementation of new architecture to accelerate the transition to cloud technology. Provisioning of the newly developed core banking system, with the deposit, loan and API gateway augments the Bank's capabilities, improving processive efficiency and optimization for economies of scale. The customer experience will be conveyed through a secure multi-channel platform, cultivating the next normal products and services of the Bank.
