"The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star" is the highest decoration that the Japanese government can bestow upon private individuals. It is awarded to those who played important roles in fostering good relationships, both in economic and legal matters, between Thailand and Japan. Mr. Sarasin has worked diligently over the years to build strong relationships with businesspersons and the Japanese government. He has been actively involved in the Thai-Japanese Association for more than 30 years and has held significant positions in prominent organizations such as the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Trade of Thailand, and many others involved in Thai-Japanese relations. Notably, he recently assumed the esteemed position of Chairman of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd.
