The LOR acknowledges Royal Phuket Marina's successful implementation of solar productivity measures, revolutionizing its power consumption and reducing dependence on traditional transmission systems. By installing two cutting-edge solar rooftop systems with capacities of 31.7 and 98.45 kW on the Premium Dry Stack boat storage facility, the marina has effectively reduced electricity consumption from the grid by up to 20%. This notable transition to renewable energy sources underscores the marina's dedication to mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and fostering a sustainable future.

"We are truly honoured to receive this Letter of Recognition, which serves as a testament to our ongoing commitment to sustainability and our proactive stance in embracing clean energy solutions," commented Yves Van Kerrebroeck, General Manager of Royal Phuket Marina.  "We firmly believe in the transformative power of renewable energy to shape a greener future for the marine industry and our wider community. This acknowledgement further fuels our determination to drive sustainability initiatives and inspire others to join us."

Royal Phuket Marina remains at the forefront of carbon reduction strategies and takes immense pride in its sustainable initiatives. As trailblazers in Thailand, the marina was the first to adopt renewable energy solutions through cutting-edge solar technology. Royal Phuket Marina has significantly increased its solar-generating capacity in recent years, surpassing triple the initial output to power its marina operations and commercial real estate.

Furthermore, Royal Phuket Marina proudly adheres to the Plastic-Free Marina Pledge, spearheaded by the Marina Industries Association (MIA). As the first marina in Thailand to join this vital initiative, the commitment to combat marine pollution extends beyond words. The marina installed the innovative V5 Seabin, leading the way in removing microplastics and floating debris from the marina's waters. Actively engaging with partners and stakeholders, Royal Phuket Marina prioritizes sustainability, forging strategic alliances with organizations and businesses such as Wawa Creations, Oceans 4 All, License To Clean, and Disabled Sailing.

Recognized as Thailand's foremost sustainable marina, Royal Phuket Marina sets the benchmark for exceptional standards, innovative practices, and breathtaking views. Driven by a steadfast commitment to preserving the natural wonders of Phuket, the marina diligently promotes responsible boating practices and environmental conservation.
