To kick things off, Spotify and Jung Kook painted one of New York's most renowned icons golden - almost literally. As published on X (previously Twitter), a silky CGI gold banner was seen unfurling from the top of the Empire State Building to reveal the album title GOLDEN. The activation was met with an outpouring of love for Jung Kook, igniting conversations by fans and curious followers alike. Watch the full video here.

Meanwhile, fans worldwide were in for a treat as GOLDEN took over prominent billboards in motion and in 3D, lighting up the streets in a dazzling display of brilliance in major cities including New York City, Seoul, Tokyo, Jakarta, Manila, and Bangkok.

There's no denying Jung Kook's midas touch. After his single "Seven (feat. Latto)" became the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams in Spotify history, Jung Kook has again struck gold and reached yet another incredible milestone with GOLDEN. As of November 7, ten of the album's 11 tracks are charting on Spotify's Global Daily Top Songs and Daily Top Songs Thailand, with "Standing Next to You" topping both lists at #1. Amassing over 6.4 million streams on the day of its release, "Standing Next to You" became the highest new entry on the global chart - a testament to his popstar power in captivating listeners worldwide.
"My solo album is officially coming out. It's time for me to show all the things that I created while growing together with BTS. I worked really hard on (the album), and you can look forward to it.
