Roongrote Rangsiyopash, President and CEO of SCG, said, "These awards reflect the dedication and hard work in our operations, following the ESG 4 Plus strategy. This strategy emphasizes 'Set Net-Zero - Go Green - Reduce Inequality - Embrace Collaboration,' plus fairness and transparency. Our goal is to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. We plan to do this by increasing the use of clean energy to replace fossil fuels. For example, we have initiatives like the non-burning agricultural project, where we purchase agricultural waste from communities to process it into biomass fuel pellets for use in cement plants, creating alternative energy sources while reducing dust and air pollution. Additionally, we are developing innovations and solutions that respond to global megatrends, offering customers convenience, safety, value and eco-friendliness with green products and solutions, such as low-carbon cement, green plastics, bio-compostable packaging, and solutions for clean-air and energy-saving buildings. Furthermore, we collaborated with all sectors to organize the ESG Symposium 2023. This event aims to accelerate Thailand's transition to a low-carbon society. We support the creation of the 'Saraburi Sandbox,' the first low-carbon city model in Thailand, which requires holistic collaboration. At the same time, we are committed to reducing social inequality in various dimensions, including education, employment and public health. We have already supported over 22,000 people through initiatives like job creation for vulnerable groups via the Power of Community Project. We also help residents in remote areas access medical treatment through the Telemedicine Project. All these achievements are possible because of our employees, in whom we believe in their potential. We promote their talents through various projects, like the ZERO TO ONE, SCG's startup studio which offers them the opportunity to develop new businesses and innovations in the manner of startups."

Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards is organized by the Thailand Management Association in collaboration with the Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University. The awards are based on surveys of opinions from senior executives of leading organizations nationwide and distinguished judges who assess corporate management practices in their respective fields. The assessments also consider the outcomes and successes of the organizations' operations. This year Privy Councillor Chirayu Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya had the honor of presiding over the award ceremony and expressed his congratulations to the organizations that received the awards.
