Wanida Praparat, the founder and CEO of VIENN Groups, said, "We would like to thank The PARQ for providing a space for this event. We are honored to be part of driving a sustainable community together with The PARQ. At VIENN, we believe circular fashion is the most effective solution. Therefore, we aim to create an ecosystem that allows people to change their shopping behaviors regarding fashion. The circular fashion concept will contribute to a circular economy. Buying second-hand items, selling used items, and renting fashion items will extend product life cycles. These behaviors will decrease the number of new items bought and produced, which eventually means fewer resources, less waste, and less carbon emissions."
Products from Thai designers and environmentally friendly brands were available at the markets. All brands share the same intention of strengthening circular fashion. These brands include Issue Thailand, Maison Keeps, Hamburger Studio, UseMeRepeat, Sparkblue, Circular, UP TO YOU, and many more, offering product samplings in a special zone. The market also had the Donation & Recycle zone serving as a drop-off point for anyone wanting to sell their used clothes and accessories or donate to those in need. In addition to extending product life cycles, all items would be used for ultimate purposes. This drop-off zone was the first step for many people interested in embracing circular fashion.
