BAFS Partners with CAO to Exchange Knowledge and Enhance Technology, Driving the Aviation Industry Towards Sustainability

Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services Public Company Limited ("BAFS"), and China Aviation Oil (Singapore) Corporation Ltd ("CAO") have signed a memorandum of understanding ("MOU") to establish a framework for the sharing and exchange of knowledge, expertise, skills and experiences, to enhance technology and drive sustainable aviation fuel development (the "Knowledge Sharing Partnership").

The MOU was signed on 28 May 2024 by the President of BAFS, M.L. Nathasit Diskul and the Executive Chairman of CAO, Mr. Shi Yanliang, at a physical signing ceremony in Singapore.

The Knowledge Sharing Partnership aims to: (1) facilitate the joint identification of programmes in the aviation fuel supply business; and (2) develop and enhance services in the aviation fuel supply business. This would include engaging relevant programmes, offices and other entities within the respective organisations of BAFS and CAO to provide or coordinate resources or activities, support the development of appropriate tools or training to improve the capabilities of human resources in both organisations, advancing technology related to comprehensive aviation refuelling systems, storage of aviation fuel using a hydrant pipeline network, maintenance and transportation of aviation fuel through an underground pipeline system, and the development of sustainable aviation fuel to propel the aviation industry towards the use of clean energy in the future.
