OPPORTUNITIES ON THE ASIAN MARKET

The food processing and packaging market is a key growth sector in the ASEAN region. Countries such as Laos, Myanmar, China, Indonesia and Thailand are particularly open to imports and receptive to new ranges of food products.

The region's demand is mainly for green, resource-efficient technologies, with a view to sustainably enhancing local food production. Current trends place the emphasis on eco-responsibility, innovation and the consolidation of industrial processes. There is also a growing need for automation solutions and technological advances. These are the needs of our time, and the French delegation is ideally placed to meet them.

As a major player in the agri-food sector, France already has a solid foothold in these promising Asian markets. As a result, French companies have great potential to meet the region's specific needs and seize the many opportunities available. Business France is ready to support them in their development in this strategic economic zone.
