NetApp(R) (NASDAQ: NTAP), the original intelligent data infrastructure company, today announced that Cloud HM, a leading cloud services provider in Thailand, is enlisting NetApp's AFF C-Series all-flash storage solutions and integrated data services to provide hybrid cloud services to Thai businesses.

This collaboration supports the Cloud First Policy as outlined by Thailand's Ministry of Digital Economy and Society in its Digital Roadmap for 20241, which will position Thailand as a premier cloud hub for the region and increase adoption of cloud infrastructure in public services. At the same time, Thailand's National Digital Blueprint initiative is also targeting to support digital transformation among Thai enterprises and grow the size of its digital economy to 50 percent of GDP by 20302. As such, enterprises need future-ready IT and robust data infrastructure in order to compete effectively in the digital economy.

Cloud HM has deployed NetApp's AFF C-Series, an industry-leading, unified, capacity flash storage offering. AFF C-Series delivers flash performance, while remaining cost-effective and efficient for a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and a smaller storage footprint. The capacity flash arrays are also offered with one of the industry's most comprehensive software suites, NetApp ONTAP(R) One, an all-in-one license.

As the cyber threat landscape in Thailand continues to evolve, it is essential for organizations to re-examine their cyber resilience strategy and protect their systems against ransomware attacks. By leveraging the AFF C-Series systems, Cloud HM is also equipped with the best-in-class data security with ransomware protection to keep its important data secure, available and protected.

"We have seen an incredibly innovative and resilient spirit among Thai enterprises in a fast-evolving digital economy," said Na-pajra Umpudh, Chief Executive Officer at Cloud HM. "One of the top concerns that we have heard from our customers as they gear up for the hyper-competitive digital economy is the need for cost-effective, flexible and future-proof storage solutions. NetApp's flash storage solutions will enable us to provide to our hybrid cloud customers not only cost savings, but shorter time to market and higher operational efficiency."

"In today's uncertain economic climate, organizations are looking at ways to trim operational costs while maximizing output and efficiency," said Unnop Wadithee, Country Manager, Thailand, NetApp. "NetApp's intelligent data infrastructure, which includes its unified data storage solutions spanning across on-premises and cloud, are a compelling proposition for business transformation. I am delighted they can form the backbone of Cloud HM's drive to help Thai businesses modernize their data centers and adopt hybrid cloud."
