CP Foods volunteers have distributed fresh food, bread, drinking water, survival kits, and pet food to temporary shelters and kitchens in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai. The relief efforts aim to ease the immediate difficulties of the affected residents.
The volunteers delivered 1,000 pieces of bread, 200 survival kits, and drinking water to Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, to be further distributed to Phrom Wihan Temple Shelter in Wiang Phang Kham Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province.
Additional relief included 3,000 eggs, 50 kilograms of minced pork, 72 kilograms of frozen duck thighs, 50 kilograms of minced chicken, and 1,000 kilograms of Jerhigh and Jinny brand pet food, which were handed over to the Petchkasem Foundation, for use in the foundation's kitchen to prepare meals for flood victims.
Earlier, Prasit Boondoungprasert, CEO of CP Foods, led the donation of CP-branded drinking water, Royal Umbrella rice, and pet food under the Jerhigh and Jinny brands to the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters. This was done to support the military in their efforts to alleviate the hardships caused by floods and to send encouragement to flood victims in Chiang Rai province.
Since July, the company has been providing assistance to flood victims through various related agencies in five northern provinces: Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, and Sukhothai. CP Foods is committed to continuing this support to help ease the suffering of those affected by the floods.
