Charitable memorabilia from the Ramathibodi Foundation have always made a perfect gift for various occasions as they have sentimental value, are adorable and usable. Giving the gift of happiness for both givers and recipients, the charitable memorabilia collections also serve as an opportunity for everyone to be part of the bridge of generosity towards people on a larger scale. As the chairperson of the foundation's committee, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn recently bestows her royal drawing titled "Happy Squirrel" to be printed on the latest charitable memorabilia collection whose proceeds go to help with the purchase of medical equipment and with impoverished patients.

Punsiree Kunakornpaiboonsiri, managing director of the Ramathibodi Foundation, said "This year, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously bestows her royal drawing titled "Happy Squirrel" fearing a cheerful squirrel holding a heart. A sign of hope, the squirrel encourages us to weave hope with heart and to give with cheerfulness. HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn also grants a royal permission to use the painting on the foundation's charitable memorabilia collection whose proceeds are to be given to various projects as well as to lend a helping hand to patients and the public in the future."

Furthermore, the Ramathibodi Foundation is honored to have celebrity M.L. Sisira "Whanyen" Diskul Kettratad and family share ideas of happiness to create lovely little moments together through a special fashion collection titled "Happy Squirrel". The foundation also has florist Jiranya "Yii" Srisawek of Furawa Desu to share gift techniques for the upcoming festive season."

Together with her two little ones and her mother Koontikar Krairiksh, M.L. Sisira shares the idea of how to create happy family moments as saying: "Whenever we have a chance to take group family photos, I would love to see everyone in themed outfits or wearing our family's team shirts. The Happy Squirrel charitable memorabilia features a wide array of items including T-shirts, polo shirts, hats and bags which fit everyone's liking. I choose to wear a black T-shirt featuring a squirrel and an infinity heart placed in a nine-square table while my mother wears a purple polo shirt which is also the signature colour of the Ramathibodi Foundation and the colour of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's day of birth. Matthew, my eldest son, chooses to wear a cream T-shirt with a large-sized squirrel print. He also chooses a notebook because he likes drawing and writing. My youngest son William, on the other hand, really loves to wear a hat, so much so he insists not to take it off. All these make us a team of Happy Squirrels, a lovely moment which will etch deeply in our fond family memories."

Koontikar added that "I feel extremely delighted to be part of the contribution and to share the idea of how to create happy family moments for the Ramathibodi Foundation where HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn serves as the chairperson. This is my and my family's highest honour apart from being the princess's classmate at Chitralada School and to be given an opportunity to occasionally accompany her as she traveled. I also worked for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother as the first batch of models for a silk fashion collection at Chiangmai and Hua Hin. With all that said, the princess graciously bestows the name "Sisira" to my eldest daughter, and also bestows the name "Kajphol" to my eldest grandchild too"

Flower designer Jiranya "Yii" Srisawek of Furawa Desu shares a technique on how to give the gift of happiness as inspired by the pattern and colours of the Happy Squirrel collection: "The brown and orange tone which is the main colour of the squirrel in the collection reminds me of autumn which later becomes an inspiration to decorate a flower gift basket made from a large-sized canvas bag. Thanks to its wide bottom, the bag can carry a lot of stuff and can consequently be transformed into a gift basket featuring an adorable squirrel. Then we put other earth-tone items into the gift basket including a thermal flask, notebook and bucket hat then decorating it with beautiful flowers. This makes a perfect gift for loved ones or the elderly on this upcoming festive season."

Jiranya shares the idea behind the selection of decorative materials and the meaning of decorative flowers: "I choose stuff from our daily routine such as a notebook and a pen. When we go outside, we usually wear a bucket hat and have a thermal flask with us. As for flowers, I choose Dahlia whose orange colour bears a positive meaning — a search for inner strength — which is also to pass on positive energy to others."

The florist also said she is delighted to be part of happiness sharing towards recipients and to be part of the contribution for the Ramathibodi Foundation. She recommends the Happy Squirrel charitable memorabilia collection as a New Year gift as they are not just adorable and good-quality but also allow a chance to be part of the generosity towards impoverished patients.

Organizations can also have their logos screened on the Happy Squirrel items with the order of over 300 pieces. The collection features T-shirts (199 baht), polo shirts (300 baht), sweaters (499 baht), micro fabric bags (79 baht), large-sized canvas bags (350 baht), small-sized canvas bags (179 baht), coin purses (99 baht), bucket hats (350 baht), thermal flasks (350 baht), ballpoint pens (59 baht), notebooks (99 baht) and New Year cards (15 baht).
