In her welcome address, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho delivered a special lecture on the topic "Good Environment Nurtures Individuals Toward Excellence," emphasizing the importance of a supportive learning environment in fostering students' potential. Following this, Assistant Professor Dr. Chonthida Thephinlap, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Wuthichai Chairinkam, Vice President for Student Quality, gave a joint talk on "Insights into Education in the Digital Age and the Learning Experience at UP."
One of the highlights of the event was the special session titled "Let's Talk about UP," which garnered a lot of attention from new students. The session featured six exceptional UP alumni who shared their educational and career journeys, as well as personal insights and inspiration.
The speakers for the Morning Session were:
- Jiramote Rattanawan (Guy) Alumnus of the School of Business Administration and Communication Arts, President of the BCA Alumni Club, and Deputy Manager of Thanachakwan Supermarket, Mae Chai District.
- Harit Buayoi (Keng) Alumnus of the School of Education, artist/actor under DOMUNDI label, and Outstanding Alumnus 2025.
- Miss Thanaporn Rangkapanee (Alex) Alumna of the School of Liberal Arts, Chairperson of the board and Founder of Asia Medicare Group (AMC Group).
The speakers for the Afternoon Session were:
- Miss Chayanit Jitaree (Palm) Alumna of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Influencer on TikTok channel "Mama the Family" (with over 1.1 million followers), and pharmacy owner.
- Phongsathorn Boonnitiphat Alumnus of the School of ICT, Outstanding Alumnus 2024, and Service Director at Lannacom Co., Ltd., specializing in IT solutions.
- Orrawan Wongsombat (Dr. Kaew) Alumna of the School of Medicine, currently a physician at Phayao Hospital, whose inspiring life story was once featured on Thai Rath.
The program's goal was to provide new students at the University of Phayao with crucial life skills that would enable them to thrive in both their academic and personal lives.
Additionally, it aimed to encourage their growth in both areas and establish strong relationships between students and faculty. This would establish a solid foundation for academic achievement and overall development throughout their time at the university.
