Each a legendary name in their respective fields, Oasis and Paul Smith represent the best of British culture. The band and the design company go back decades, in the form of a particular piece of tailoring. On the cover of their wildly successful 1994 debut album, Definitely Maybe, Noel Gallagher can be seen wearing a collarless Paul Smith suit, which he still owns to this day, that was displayed last year at A Frame Around a Picture: Dressing the Greats exhibition at our Melrose Avenue shop.
The collection will include graphic t-shirts, caps, bags, outerwear, and shirts, with prints and embroideries featuring lyrics and song titles from the band's beloved back catalogue. Appearing throughout the collection is a special version of the Oasis logo, which has been combined with Paul Smith's instantly recognisable 40-colour Signature Stripe.
