Gojek partnerswith Ministry of Commerce on COVID-19 relief Gojek to offer 30% discounts on GoFood as part of the ministry's discount campaign

Gojek, Southeast Asia's leading on-demand multi-service platform, today announced "GoStronger," a campaign to offer discounts of up to 30% and free delivery on GoFood, Gojek's food delivery service, from 4 - 28 February 2021. The initiative is part of a collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce's Department of Internal Trade under the ministry's nationwide discount campaign, a project to relieve economic hardship amid the pandemic.

Minister of Commerce, Jurin Laksanawisit, and the Department of Internal Trade's Director, General Wattanasak Sur-iam, presided at a launch event today to kick off collaborations between the government and private sector.

Discounts offered through the "GoStronger" campaign will be applicable to food orders on GoFood every day - and at all partner merchants. Users can redeem the discount by entering the code GOSTRONGER at checkout. Maximum 60THB discount, 200THB minimum spend and limited redemption apply. Additionally, Gojek is offering free delivery for the first three kilometers from 9:00pm - 11:59pm daily. Users can redeem the offer by entering the code GOJEKDIT (limits apply).

Lalitphatr Chaimongkol, Head of Merchants, Gojek Thailand, said: "Gojek has been working closely with several government agencies to identify ways to assist our merchant and driver partners and users in the wake of challenges posed by the COVID-19. Our services continue to play a crucial role in fulfilling everyday needs and enabling social distancing for many people. In addition to collaboration with the Department of Internal Trade and the Ministry of Commerce to help ease daily living expenses, we are once again stepping up our educational outreach to partners and consumers on the precautions they can take, in line with the government's health guidelines, to ensure a safe environment across our ecosystem."

Minister of Commerce, Jurin Laksanawisit, said: "The ministry has launched the campaign for eight seasons with the objective to relieve the burden that many consumers are facing. Today, we launch the ninth season that we call Commerce's Discount Campaign to Help Thais through Platforms. Evelen platforms participate in this campaign. The ministry would like to express an appreciation to the platforms for their support. In this campaign, there will be over hundred of thousands of shops consumers can buy from."
