During this year's Olympics Games, many parties faced obstacles from the COVID-19 outbreak. However, the fighting spirits and determination of Thai athletes and coaches finally brought medals to Thais. Osotspa has prepared cash awards for Tokyo 2020 Olympics medalists and a position of honorary staff for a medal-winning Thai boxer as it has been done for decades. Recently, Mr. Thana Chaiprasit, Vice Chairman of the Senior Executive Committee and Mrs. Wannipa Bhakdibutr, Chief Executive Officer of Osotspa Public Company Limited, congratulated and presented Ms. Panipak Wongpattanakit or Tennis, who claimed the country's first gold medal in Taekwondo, with a THB 1 million cash award and presented Ms. Sudaporn Seesondee or Taew with a THB 300,000 cash award for her bronze medal win. She is also appointed as an honorary employee and becomes the first Osotspa's female honorary employee.
Osotspa also recognizes the importance of the people behind the success of both athletes. Therefore, the cash award of 50,000 baht was presented to Coach Che or Mr. Choi Young-Seok and the coaching team of the Thailand Boxing Association. In addition, Osotspa offered the cash award of 50,000 baht to athletes with outstanding performance in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, including Mr. Ramnarong Sawekwiharee (Junior), who reached the quarter-finals of taekwondo and Mr. Chatchai-decha Butdee, who qualified for the last 8 finalists of international boxing.
Osotspa is proud to support and empower Thai athletes. Regardless of the outcome of the competition, Osotspa would like to honor and thank to all the athletes, who have served as representatives of Thailand with their best effort. Osotspa always believes and supports the endeavors of Thai athletes, while the M-150 will continue to stay side by side with fighting spirit for Thai Sports.
