Krungthai Panich Insurance Public Company Limited (KPI), a non-life insurance company affiliated with Krungthai Bank Public Company Limited (KTB), issues a new insurance plan under KTB called "Krungthai SMEs Plus". The new insurance product aims to encourage small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to be more confident in their business operations. The Krungthai SMEs Plus is now available at all KTB branches across the country.

Dr. Pongpanu Damrongsiri, president of KPI said "Despite the fact that the Covid-19 outbreak posed challenges to businesses, entrepreneurs were able to turn the crisis into an opportunity and move forward with their operations. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in particular, play an important role in boosting Thailand's economy. However, there are some limitations for SMEs in terms of investment, as well as poor financial management. The "Krungthai SMEs Plus" is intended to assist SMEs owners in running their businesses more confidently and efficiently."

The "Krungthai SMEs Plus" plan is specifically designed to meet the needs of SMEs businesses. The plan covers property loss and damage such as flames, explosions, and natural disasters. It also includes coverage for money lost due to robberies or theft in a safe or while in transit, as well as compensation for loss of income for up to 30 days."
