Ahead of its highly anticipated debut of the action thriller The Gray Man on Netflix, Swiss luxury watch brand TAG Heuer has organised a private preview for an exclusive group of guests. Guests including celebrities, personalities, influencers, business partners and members of the media from the Southeast Asian region were treated to a special screening at the Embassy Diplomat Screen in Central Embassy Mall, Bangkok. It was a glitzy affair as regional celebrities including Maia Estianty, Al Ghazali, Nine Naphat, Jame Jirayu, David Guison and many more kept photographers' cameras busy on the red carpet all evening. Adding to the star power that evening were TAG Heuer's friends of the brands from Singapore including media personalities Rosalyn Lee; television and radio presenter Edward Russell; and model and aspiring singer Iman Fandi.

The movie, which would only be shown on the American streaming service three days after the screening, stars American actor and TAG Heuer ambassador Ryan Gosling. In it, he plays Court Gentry (also known as Sierra Six) a CIA black ops mercenary forced to go on the run after uncovering incriminating secrets about the agency. As he is hunted around the world, one can imagine that any respectable agent would know that split second decisions can be a matter of life and death. Gentry overcomes challenges perfectly encapsulating the TAG Heuer mindset: "Don't crack under pressure", with his trusty wingman the TAG Heuer Carrera 3 Hands on his wrist. Originally created in 1963 for high-speed pursuits on the racetrack the timepiece is now befitting for a world class hitman where elegance and fearlessness go hand in hand, much like Gosling's character. It is apparent that the TAG Heuer Carrera is "The only watch that can keep up with The Gray Man".

The location of the special screening is significant as well because the movie, which is directed by Anthony and Joseph Russo - the brothers behind four films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, features a major scene shot in Bangkok. Guests were hosted in luxury comfort in two private gold class theatres at the Embassy Diplomat Screen and were welcomed in full. TAG Heuer hospitality with exclusive merchandise from the brand including cushions, blankets, drinks and popcorn to complete the experience. Thoroughly entertained and thrilled by the movie, the guests were then ushered to Penthouse Bar + Grill at the connecting Park Hyatt Hotel for "TAG Heuer Presents The Gray Man Exclusive Party" where guests continued their spy themed experience with renowned Thai DJ Burtong helming the decks.

"The movie completely blew my mind. The action scenes were great, the pacing of the movie kept me on the edge of my seat," a guest was overheard saying. "And Ryan Gosling played the role of the protagonist really well. That said, I wouldn't expect anything less from the man who captured my heart with his performances in Drive and La La Land."

Equally impressed with Gosling's performance in the movie was Beatrice Goasglas, Managing Director for TAG Heuer S.E.A, Australia and Korea. She enthuses: "What a performance!
