Gloyta Nathalang, Executive Vice President, Corporate Branding, Communication and Sustainability Activation, Bangchak Corporation Plc., as Chairperson of Carbon Markets Club, and Veeradej Tejapaibul, President of the Thai Renewable Energy Association (RE 100) signed a memorandum of understanding to organize activities to promote the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions between Carbon Markets Club and the Thai Renewable Energy Association (RE 100) at Century Park Hotel Bangkok.

The collaboration aims to jointly promote the goal of reducing Thailand's greenhouse gas emissions towards achieving "Carbon Net Zero" target. Additionally, it aims to promote the use of renewable energy among the public and business/industrial sectors, facilitating carbon credit trading and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). Moreover, it fosters collaboration in information and knowledge sharing with the public and organizations through activities such as academic seminars, practical training, site visits, and capacity, development activities, as well as joint event promotions, and the sharing of learning and knowledge sources.

Gloyta stated "On behalf of the Carbon Markets Club, I am delighted and honored to have the opportunity to work together with the Thai Renewable Energy Association to expand our network and collaboration in disseminating knowledge and understanding of global warming, carbon offsetting, carbon credit trading, and other relevant issues for the benefit of over 600 members of both networks. It also underscores Carbon Markets Club's mission to promote the energy transition and help drive the Thai society and the global community towards the goal of Net Zero GHG Emissions, as set forth in our objectives."
