Ms. Cruawan Varunpaichit, Business Executive Officer - Food and Nestle Professional, Nestle Indochina, stated that "It is another great opportunity for Nestle Professional to celebrate International Chefs Day with the intention of passing on knowledge in healthy food to Thai kids, in line with the core mission of Nestle for Healthier Kids (N4HK) initiative to improve health and quality of life for Thai children. This year, we want to promote the importance of vegetables and fruits in children's healthy diet, so we have partnered with Sri Bang Sai School to encourage positive changes in health behaviors in schools, families, and communities. We used locally sourced ingredients, such as garden vegetables, as the main ingredients to teach children about the health benefits of different types of vegetables, as well as using Maggi products to create various delicious menus that children can easily follow with their parents, establishing good relationships in the family and also igniting the inspiration for cooking in the children to become a quality chef in the future.

The event was packed with activities that helped build knowledge and understanding of appropriate nutrition for school-age children, including a workshop on creating delicious menus that were full of nutritional values and boasted the unique aroma and taste of MAGGI. Chef O-Kritsada Phamung, Corporate Chef Manager Nestle (Thai) Ltd. introduced four healthy menus, including a spinach and boiled egg sandwich, a fried rice with Sesbania flowers sushi rolls, a fresh vegetable salad with MAGGI salad dressing, and a chicken breast steak, providing an opportunity for Sri Bang Sai School students and their families to actually try out every step of the process alongside the professional chef. Ms. Chantima Kaeyanon, Nutritionist and NHW Portfolio Development Manager, Nestle (Thai) Company Limited incorporated academic knowledge about the benefits of each type of vegetables and recommended essential nutrients that children should receive each day. The topics included the principle of eating 'right' which means eating 'just enough' to meet your body's daily needs and choosing to eat things that are good and beneficial to the body according to the principle of 2:1:1 - two parts of vegetables, one part meat, and one part rice or wheat etc. Last but not least, good taste is also important as it is good for the mind to indulge in delectable food.

This year is particularly unique as the workshop welcomed a well-known influencer family Belle - Yupaporn Litthiyarn and Chujai - Na-Orn Srimok from the Chujai Family. They shared inspiration and culinary advice in choosing useful ingredients for families. It can be said that the day was full of fun and useful knowledge.
