MR. D.I.Y., a leading home improvement retailer with the largest number of stores in Thailand, announced its success as a key shopping destination during the holiday season, notably in December 2023. The company observed a clear growth in sales and transaction numbers during the festive season compared to the same period in 2022 and anticipates this trend to continue during the Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day, thanks to special campaigns and promotions.

Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of the Marketing Department of MR. D.I.Y. Thailand, said, "During the festive season in December 2023, MR. D.I.Y. welcomed customers across its 700 stores nationwide, resulting in both sales and transactions increasing over 30% compared to the same period in 2022. This growth underscores the trust and confidence customers place in MR. D.I.Y. stores across 73 provinces, making us a preferred destination for holiday shopping and other celebrations. This reinforces our role as 'The Everyday Store for Everyone.'"

Furthermore, MR. D.I.Y. provided further insights into consumer purchasing behavior during the year-end festive season. Household and furnishing, along with hardware products, emerged as the top two most popular categories among consumers, making them the best-selling items, while toy sales also experienced a notable increase. Moreover, MR. D.I.Y.'s data revealed that customers are not just looking for low-priced items. On the contrary, they prefer products that offer value for money, which are suitable for gifting or exchanging with family and friends.

In addition, customer participation in the 'Season of Giving,' a year-end campaign in 2023, increased by 30% compared to the 2022 campaign. This significant rise indicates that the grand prize of a NETA V electric car, along with 120 other prizes worth over one million baht in total, successfully attracted customer interest and encouraged active involvement.

To continue engaging consumers, MR. D.I.Y. is organizing a promotion to welcome the Chinese New Year, featuring a variety of decorative Chinese New Year products, starting at just eight baht. Customers will also receive a pack of four dragon-patterned ang pao when making a minimum 300-baht/ receipt purchase.* Additionally, for February 2024, to celebrate the season of love, MR.
