Khao Chae, a culinary gem traditionally served during the hot season, translates to "rice soaked in water". This delicacy comprises steamed rice steeped in iced jasmine-scented water, accompanied by savoury sides like Shrimp paste balls, Stuffed sweet peppers with pork and shrimp, Sweet shredded pork, Sweet shredded fish, Deep-fried shallots and Stir fried sweet radish Its origins go back centuries, created by the Mon people as an offering during Songkran, the Thai New Year; eventually Khao Chae gained prominence within the Thai royal court for its refreshing qualities.
On the 24th floor of Centara Grand, Ventisi provides a tranquil haven for guests to relish this exquisite dish. Available in April at both lunch and dinner buffets, diners can savour the intricate flavours of Khao Chae for only THB 290++ per set.

The lunch buffet runs daily at THB 1,355++ per adult and THB 677++ per child (6-11 years), from 12.00 - 15.00 hrs.
The dinner buffet themes change during the week, with Thursday's selection at THB 1,390++ per person, and the Friday evening buffets at THB 1,590++ per person include free-flow Sauvignon Blanc and soft drinks and Saturday evening buffets at THB 1,590++ per person.
