Mrs. Gloyta reflected on Bangchak's 40-year journey and its transition into the fifth decade, from its roots as a domestic oil refinery to becoming a diversified energy group operating in 10 countries. She highlighted Bangchak's role in driving the energy transition through green innovation and concrete action toward a low-carbon society, grounded in systematic management that integrates economic, social, environmental, and ethical considerations.
She also shared five qualities of modern leadership, framed as the 5Rs of Sustainable Leadership: Resilience - the ability to navigate uncertainty and bounce back quickly; Responsibility - integrity, ethical conduct, and the courage to admit mistakes while protecting the team; Relevance - understanding a changing context and leading with vision; Regeneration - giving more than one takes, and creating value for teams, organizations, and society; and Results - translating good intentions into tangible outcomes with clear goals and transparent monitoring.
She concluded by emphasizing that leadership is not defined by position, but by the ability to create meaningful impact with others - grounded in ethics, vision, and a deep understanding of a constantly evolving world.
