This collaboration aligns with the Excise Department's 2026 strategic framework for combating tax-evading goods under the policy "Proactive Suppression, Ending Illegal Cycles." The initiative emphasizes proactive inspections, the dismantling of illicit supply chains, and the integration of databases to enable data-driven enforcement. These efforts are further supported by risk analysis to enhance the efficiency of detecting and intercepting illegal goods within logistics networks.

It also builds on the cooperation initiated in 2025 under the Ministry of Finance's "Zero Tolerance: Excise Tax-Evading Goods Must Be Zero" policy. The 2026 signing marks the second consecutive year of partnership, reflecting the continued advancement of practical cooperation and the sustained strengthening of a joint public-private regulatory framework.

Under this framework, both parties will jointly develop systematic mechanisms for the inspection, screening, and tracking of suspicious parcels through data sharing and the integration of relevant databases, as well as the establishment of a dedicated joint task force. This will enhance the efficiency of law enforcement and legal proceedings, while ensuring the continuity of logistics services and strengthening the ability to respond to emerging risks across the supply chain.

On the corporate side, J&T Express remains committed to transparent operations, good corporate governance, and social responsibility. The company will continue to deepen strategic cooperation with government agencies by strengthening risk management systems, enhancing data capabilities, and continuously improving internal compliance processes, supporting the development of Thailand's logistics industry standards in line with the evolving regulatory landscape of the digital era.

This collaboration represents another key milestone in strengthening Thailand's logistics governance framework, highlighting the role of public-private cooperation in enhancing transparency and fair trade, while laying the foundation for a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable logistics ecosystem capable of addressing long-term risks.
