Bangchak has supported the development of the stingless bee farming community in Bang Nam Phueng since 2020, with the initiative led by Associate Professor Somsak Samlirattan, Chairman of the Bang Nam Phueng Large-Scale Stingless Bee Farming Group and a National Agricultural Sage. The project aims to conserve local biodiversity while promoting sustainable livelihoods and income generation. Beginning with the support of 117 stingless bee colonies, the initiative has continued to expand through the establishment of a bee bank, the development of supplementary feed, the organization of World Bee Day activities, and the creation of the "Phueng Tham" community enterprise to develop products and marketing channels. Most recently, Bangchak has supported the construction of a honey packaging facility and plans to install rooftop solar panels to promote the use of clean energy. At present, the Bang Nam Phueng stingless bee group manages more than 900 hives, with over 100 members, of whom 15 have received Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) certification from the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the highest number in Thailand.
